Cheryl Johnson VP, Global Color & PQM SGS Co
Cheryl Johnson has spent 30+ years working in the packaging print industry. She has covered all aspects of pre-media, working in production, customer service, and press support, before moving into production leadership and general management. On the software and equipment side of the industry Cheryl gained experience in sales, marketing, and held both sales leadership and technology leadership roles. During her career, she previously held positions at Trident, Esko, and X-Rite, in both Europe and the US.
Cheryl has been with SGS since 2017, her current role is VP, Global Color & PQM. Her team supports the production organization in all color and print quality activities, such as: fingerprinting, profile and curve creation, proofing, on-press support, and delivering PQM programs to clients. -

Scott Thompson, Vice President Innovation, is a Pre-Press, Print and Color Management Executive with extensive experience in all facets of brand commercialization and packaging applications. Scott has been employed with SGS since August 2000 and held positions in Technical Sales, National Account Management and Print Quality leading to his current role as Vice President Innovation. Carol Zweep Research Lead, Packaging, Conestoga Food Research & Innovation Lab (CFRIL) Conestoga College Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning
Carol Zweep recently joined Conestoga College this year as Research Lead in Packaging. Since October 2022 she was at the NSF International (formerly Guelph Food Technology Centre), responsible for global packaging services. She formerly managed the Product & Process Innovation and the Food & Label Compliance teams. Carol has presented at conferences, delivered courses, judged competitions and written trade magazine articles on packaging.
Prior to joining NSF International, Carol worked at Amcor Rigid Plastics for sixteen years in various roles ranging from managing a quality department, working in research and development to building the corporate technical center. Carol has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Queens University and a Master of Science degree from McMaster University. Carol is also a Lifetime Certified Packaging Professional (CPP) from the Institute of Packaging Professionals (IoPP).
